Explore the social movements and hip neighborhoods that shaped San Francisco into the city it is today. You will visit ground zero for Harvey Milk’s gay civil rights movement, see stunning political street art, and understand how feminists, Latinos, artists and activists have fought, and continue to fight, for the soul of SF. This tour is great for new locals and those seeking an off-the-beaten-path experience.

On arrival

The meeting point is at Castro St and Market St (under the huge rainbow flag). Look for the larger-than-life character wearing a funky, colorful outfit.

Things to note

Please note: The tour needs minimum of 4 people to run. The maximum capacity is 25 people. A group of people up to 6 are able to book a group booking, otherwise the tour will have to booked as a private tour.
Regarding refunds, tickets are non-refundable within 24 hours of tour’s start. The tours will run rain or shine. The tour may be cancelled if less 4 people signed up. In that case we will contact you by phone and email to refund you or move your reservation to another tour.

Please note that you should arrive at least 10 minutes early so we can handle payment before the tour begins.
