Best of Potsdam Tour

Tour information

When the Kingdom of Prussia ruled over Berlin it surely influenced the city, but Potsdam is the place where they left a mark that won’t come off. Beautiful palaces, gigantic gardens, vivid fountains, blasting waterways, and faux Greco-ruins to top the list of amazing sights that can be found in this playground of royal proportions.

We’ll start with a short train ride from the city centre by visiting the Frederick the Great’s pleasure palace Sanssouci. From there we’ll head off the beaten track to explore the hidden corners of Park Sanssouci and the Neuer Garten. By the end of the day we’ll park up by the edge of the Havil river and sip on some cold beers, offered by a brewery by the bankside called the Meierei. Bring your swimming clothes along because by the end of the tour you’ll have an amazing chance to swim in Heiliger See — one of Berlin’s best swimming lakes!

A Berlin ABC day ticket (or other valid ticket for public transport) is required for this tour and costs €7,60. It can be purchased on the spot!

It’s optional to visit the palaces of Sanssouci afterwards. Ticket prices range between €8-12.

This tour includes:

Guide — Sanssouci Palace — Neue Palais — Marble Palace — Cecilienhof — Picture Gallery — Chinese tea house — Orangerie- Roman baths — Dutch Quarter — Palace gardens — Neue Garten — And much more!
