Fire, Pestilence & Plague Tour

Tour information

The journey starts from the riverside cycle hire centre at Gabriel’s Wharf, which is conveniently located close to Waterloo Station. Once you got a bike the tour will start with your guide leading you through the vibrant Southbank area where the cultural centre of London lies. There you’ll find great photo opportunities with world famous monuments such as the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament lying around. Next destination is Lambeth Palace, a gorgeous Tudor building. After crossing the Thames now, you’ll enter the quiet courtyard of Westminster School which boasts a secret view of Westminster Abbey. Enjoy the Changing of the Guard ceremony by the Buckingham Palace and perhaps you might catch a glimpse of the Queen. Ride through Trafalgar Square to see the mighty statue of Lord Nelson. From there you’ll head straight to the cobblestone streets of Covent Garden where you’ll find many high quality restaurants and exciting street performers. After that you’ll head towards London’s oldest quarter and from that point the tour will ultimately come to an end by crossing the Blackfriars Bridge and heading back towards the wharf.
