This is the best overview you can get of Prague. An exceptional free tour of Prague exploring all the must-see sights as well as the lesser-known places and sights with top quality local guides who simply love Prague and will certainly have you more in love with this charming city by the end of the tour than you might have expected. The Czech capital is a seductive city, new buildings and structures have, thankfully, not been at the expense of its truly ancient architecture and narrow cobbled streets which creates a special atmosphere, a mix between a fantasy fairy-tale setting and very real progressive modernity. Prague oozes ancient history and the proud local guides revel in the opportunity to reveal this to you in a fun and easy way, show you their city of today and give you insider tips and recommendations. The pace is relaxed, the route and distance walked is easy and, as you venture down so many old, cobbled and winding streets, your attention is maintained by the city as you go between the tour stops so it doesn’t feel like you’re walking too much. There is a cafe break along the way to soak up the local atmosphere and relax with your guide and fellow travellers. A must-do by any standards and we can’t recommend it highly enough.
On this Free Walking Tour you’ll discover the history behind enchanting Prague in 2.5 unforgettable hours. Our local guides will take you through this beautiful city, share with you its remarkable past and reveal Prague’s quirky secrets and local legends. There are two metro stations very close by; one is called Můstek, on the green and yellow line. When getting off there make sure to take the right exit since there are many. Take an exit to Můstek and you will come out by a huge shop called New Yorker. Take a street called Můstek and go straight, after 5 minutes you will arrive to Old Town Square.
The second close station is Staroměstská on the green line. Take an exit to Staroměstské náměstí (The Old Town square) and take the street called Kaprova. You will reach the square within 3 minutes.
