For all of you who want to see more than the usual sights, such as the Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings of the city centre, or for those who are extremely eager to find out what socialism was all about, we’ve designed the New Zagreb tour! Crossing over the river Sava, you’ll be entering completely different scenery, discovering a very complex side of Zagreb that is not very often promoted by the official Zagreb Tourist Board. Here you’ll get to see the development of our city since the Post-World War II era, mainly through that «mystical» time of communism, and see how it breathes today as it remains the main housing area of Zagreb. New Zagreb is currently also a cradle of a very vivacious Croatian contemporary art scene.
This tour includes:
English speaking local guide — Different side of Zagreb — Sava River — History — New Zagreb

We had the combine-tour which gave us a good idea of the city. Bruno was a nice guide and knowledgeable. The cycling is very easy also suited for novice cyclists. Recommended.
We start in the courtyard at Ban Josip Jelacic Trg (square) 15, the main square of the city.
