Explore some of the most “colourful” parts of Vancouver’s history on this fun & entertaining walking tour.Visit Canada’s largest Chinatown where you’ll experience the multicultural side of our metropolitan city.

Starting near the Vancouver Art Gallery, this fun, interactive tour moves East along Georgia Street to introduce you to the Vancouver Public Library, discuss some of Vancouver’s most influential citizens and looks back at the militarization during the World Wars. From there you’ll move into Chinatown where your local guide will introduce you to the Associations, Yip Sang, Dr. Sun Yat Sen and many other influential Chinese immigrants who played a major role not only in Vancouver’s young history, but their influence spread world wide.

On this 2 hour easy-walking tour we give a complete overview of downtown Vancouver and explores some of the oldest parts of town. Our unique style of combining history with pure entertainment, stories & jokes has made us one of the most popular walking tour companies in Canada!

On arrival

The tour meets at the Centennial Fountain in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery. The fountain is on the North side of the gallery, between Hornby & Howe Streets.

Things to note

This tour ends in Chinatown near Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Gardens approximately 2 hours later.
